Senior/Associate Cost Manager - Utilities
London (with hybrid working)
£80-120k

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced cost professional to join a leading international consultancy in a senior role.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Cost Manager or Associate with utilities experience (electrical / power utilities a preference) to take responsibility for a variety of projects, acting as the main client contact, while providing support to the existing team.

The successful candidate will join an established Cost Management offering as they continue their growth within a broad portfolio of real estate, digital, and technical environments across EMEA.

The role will suit someone who has delivered a range of utility infrastructure projects and offers an excellent platform to progress, with a very supportive and robust career development structure.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence, with good commercial results.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar technical discipline.
  2. Strong technical delivery experience.
  3. Membership of a relevant professional body.
  4. Ability to successfully manage complex projects in a proactive and diligent manner.
  5. Strong feasibility and cost planning experience.
  6. Experience of providing procurement advice, tender documentation, and post-contract services.
  7. Client-facing, ensuring a high standard of technical delivery.
  8. Able to build long-term relationships.
  9. Previously employed by a consultancy or end-user client.
  10. Stakeholder management with a clear focus on developing client accounts.
  11. A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines.
  12. A team player, outgoing, flexible, and career-focused.
