A new era begins at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

Our new restaurant launched in June 2023 is the heart of the hotel eating and drinking experience. Buzzy and fast-paced from morning to late, with friendly and informal service in a landmark address. Located on the ground floor, we offer a fine casual all-day destination, with outdoor seating overlooking Hyde Park. We serve a breakfast buffet with live cooking stations and an all-day a la carte menu along with a signature afternoon tea. Our modern British approach, combined with traditional and international flavours creates a simple menu perfect for an everyday treat, casual lunch, business meeting or celebratory dinner.

Salary up to £53,000 plus service charge.

What will I be doing?
  • Contribute to menu creation
  • Manage and train the kitchen brigade effectively to ensure a well-organised and motivated team
  • Ensure consistency in quality of dishes at all times
  • Assist the Head Chef and manage customer relations when necessary, in the absence of the Chef
  • Ensure resources meet business needs through the effective management of working rotas
  • Support brand standards through the training and assessment of your team
  • Manage food cost controls to contribute to Food and Beverage revenue
  • Knowledge of activities in other departments and implications
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards
What are we looking for?
  • Strong Junior Sous Chef or previous Sous Chef Experience
  • Approaches food in a creative way
  • Strong supervisory skills
  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Excellent planning and organising skills

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, afternoons and evenings
