Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
£45,000 - £60,000 + Progression + Flexi Time + Training + Benefits
Monday - Friday (Days), 37.5 Hours Per week
Near Ringwood, Dorset. Commutable from Bournemouth, Poole, Southampton and Lymington

Are you a mechanical design engineer looking for a new, senior role that you can make your own? Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity within an industry leading, special purpose machinery manufacturer who are known for their first class training and development, flexible working and excellent staff?

Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join the team, working out of their state of the art facility near Ringwood. The successful applicant will be responsible for designing products across the full manufacturing lifecycle from initial enquiry to manufacture and sale. You will be working within a busy design team to create calculations and ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standard. This is a key role within the team, offering you the chance to lead process, performance and design reviews and become a senior, valuable member within both the team and business.

The Role:

1. Managing a variety of designs for manufacturing projects
2. Using Solidworks
3. Designing bespoke, special purpose machinery

The Candidate:

1. Mechanical design experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
2. 3D and SolidWorks experience
3. A commutable distance to Ringwood
