Job Description

• Providing high-quality VAT advice to a diverse range of clients.
• Building strong relationships with clients and understanding their businesses to provide tailored advice.
• Working alongside the team to ensure the successful delivery of complex tax projects.
• Supporting business development activities, including proposals and pitches.
• Training and mentoring junior team members.
• Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and policy.
• Working closely with other departments to provide a coordinated service to clients.
• Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring deadlines are met and quality of work is maintained.

The Successful Applicant

A successful VAT Assistant Manager - Senior Manager should have:

• A professional tax or accounting qualification.
• Proven experience in a VAT advisory role within a professional services firm.
• A strong understanding of UK VAT law and principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to manage a large and diverse portfolio of clients.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering client solutions.
