What you'll do

We are the Benefits Team at Viasat and we look after our global plans including pension, healthcare, protection and other lifestyle benefits. We cover over 24 countries across a global team and work collaboratively to ensure great design and administration makes our business a great place to work and be supported. The Europe Benefits Team is made up of 4 people who look after different areas and countries. An opportunity has arisen to help support the administration of the Europe Region to maximise efficiency and to support our people when they need us the most.


The day-to-day

The day to day for the Europe Benefits Administrator looks like this:

  • Managing benefit plans across multiple countries in Europe
  • Coordinating with Payroll team on invoices processing across the European region
  • Managing Purchase Orders to ensure budget is utilised efficiently
  • Managing new joiners and leavers across Europe
  • Actively involved in the payroll process such as checking logbooks and final submission files
  • Keeping data up to date in our HRIS and project boards

What you'll need

  • A strong understanding of European and UK benefit plans and Benefit providers
  • A good understanding of pension, health and insurance benefits in Europe.
  • A good understanding of how benefits forms
  • Good with data - experience with pivot tables and vlookups would be advantageous.

What will help you on the job

  • Attention to detail is critical in this role as you will be checking large files.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and identifying areas that could be improved.
  • A thirst for knowledge will help you in this role where we may need to find answers externally.
  • The ability to take jargon and translate it into digestible updates.
