Overview

Are you the one to help us with front-end WordPress development, including creating and customizing WordPress themes and plugins for GrowthRocks and our international clients? We’re looking for an aspiring web developer to help us with front-end WordPress development, including creating and customizing WordPress themes and plugins for GrowthRocks and our international clients.

Depending on what you love to do and your skills, you might be:

1. Familiar with the basic programming languages of the web (PHP, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript).
2. Familiar with page layout on mobile and desktop platforms.
3. Having an understanding of industry trends and Content Management Systems.
4. Experienced with responsive and adaptive design.
5. Familiar with the web development process, including design, development, and deployment.

Our Requirements

You have a deep understanding and love for the web. Furthermore, you must have experience in at least 2 of the below:

1. Continuous learning attitude and confidence in your skills (we will teach you all you need).
2. An understanding of the WordPress Content Management System.
3. Experience working with WordPress plugins.
4. An understanding of custom post types using WP Types and/or Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
5. Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
6. Understanding of PHP and MYSQL.
7. Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
8. Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
9. Comfortable working with browser debugging tools.
10. Ability to understand CSS changes to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
11. Understanding of code versioning tools.
12. Attention to detail, good written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work well within teams.
