Lead Auditor in Forest Management

We’re looking for a passionate professional in the field of Forest Management, who prides herself/himself on delivering customer service excellence, the highest levels of quality and expertise, and who wants to be part of a forward-thinking, dynamic global organization.

In this position, you will have an opportunity to work and manage relationships with some of the world’s leading brands. Utilizing your extensive technical skills, you will be responsible for leading and supporting third-party audits across different schemes.

What you will do:

• Perform 3rd party certification audits for Finnish customers to Forest Management schemes, as well as for Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety standards,
• Lead the Forest Management auditor team,
• Maintain appropriate audit credentials and pursue advancement of those credentials.
• Part of the job will be remote.

What is Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Forest Management or comparable discipline,
• 5+ years’ experience in the field,
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to audiences of varying size, seniority, and technical competency in at least Finnish and English,
• Ability to travel extensively approximately 3-4 days a week.

We appreciate:

• Earlier experience of auditing,
• 5 days Lead Auditor recognized Course (one or more schemes ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001),
• Forest industry experience.
