Construction Litigation - Legal Director - Glasgow or Edinburgh

A rare opportunity has arisen to join one of Scotland's leading contentious construction teams as a Legal Director. This is a unique opportunity where the incoming Legal Director will have a clear line to Partnership once established and settled within the team.

As part of the Dispute Resolution division's growth and development strategy for 2025, the Construction Litigation team is looking to recruit a further Senior Solicitor to bolster the offerings' technical expertise with the option to take on further people management/development responsibilities.

The Firm & Team:

1. A leading name in the Scottish legal world - well-known litigation powerhouse covering real estate, commercial, construction, defamation, insolvency, and IP disputes.
2. Highly accredited litigation department with an established domestic and international dispute caseload.
3. Open and transparent culture with a genuine commitment to internal development - the majority of the firm's senior leadership team have trained and progressed within the firm from junior Solicitors.

The Role:

1. Manage a complex and diverse construction litigation caseload.
2. Deliver excellent, quality legal advice and service to a long-established national client base.
3. Collaborate with colleagues across the office network to deliver the best results for clients.
4. Manage a broad caseload across both the Sheriff's Court and Court of Session.

The Candidate:

1. 8PQE + Solicitor - Scottish Qualified Solicitor with a proven track record within construction litigation.
2. Previous experience within construction litigation.
3. A clear ambition to take a senior leadership role within one of the leading Legal500 firms in Scotland.
