Job Description

Salary: 90-110k Base plus Bonus

Seeking a Quality Manager in a manufacturing company in York, PA.

Essential Skills of the Job:

• Lead the Quality Function for the manufacturing company.
• Develop, build, and sustain the QMS system for the plant, ensuring the plant is delivering products that meet all established specifications.
• Drive all Quality-related metrics for the plant (Candidate must be a metric-oriented person).
• Provide leadership to Quality Engineers and other staff personnel towards all key quality initiatives.
• Drive Continuous Improvement efforts for Quality Improvement projects.
• Be a Chief Problem Solver on all major Internal and External Corrective Actions for the plant.
• Manage all key quality processes, procedures, and policies.
• Utilize FMEAs.
• Conduct quality audits daily throughout the plant.
• Ensure incoming Quality from suppliers is properly measured and proper Corrective Actions are initiated when necessary.

Desired Education, Experience, and Qualities:

• BS Degree in Engineering or Business. MBA or Master's degree is a plus.
• Prior ISO implementation and sustaining experience required.
• Green Belt or higher certification.
• Familiarity with all Continuous Improvement tools related to Quality, including FMEAs, PPAPs, and Six Sigma.
• Must be a Master Problem Solver with good interaction skills with internal and external customers.
• Certified Quality Auditor or Certified Quality Engineer is a plus.
