Job Description
Join Sage's global Legal Services Centre as a Paralegal in our Legal function supporting our colleagues, suppliers and customers! Provide pragmatic legal support and guidance directly to colleagues across the Sage business to manage legal risk effectively. This is a fast-paced and varied role and you'll focus on areas such as intellectual property, data protection, corporate activities, compliance, supplier contracts, and product-related legal matters. In addition to supporting suppliers and customers, you'll develop and maintain policies and processes to ensure Sage's ongoing legal compliance.
Hybrid working - 3 days a week from our Cobalt office.
The goal of this role will be to provide an excellent level of pragmatic legal support to all colleagues across the UKI region and globally out of the Legal Service Centre, while effectively managing legal risk. You will have the opportunity to develop your legal skills within Sage as we present a wide breadth of legal topics for you to manage all within the context of being at the forefront of the latest advancements in accounting, financial, HR, and payroll technology for SMBs.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include conducting legal due diligence and research, reviewing customer and supplier contracts, and participating in contract negotiations with third parties. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver timely legal advice and engage in ongoing improvements to legal processes and procedures. Additionally, you'll uphold compliance with internal policies and deliver training materials to stakeholders.
