Communications Manager, Amazon Web Services, ASEAN

Job ID: 2942796 | Amazon Web Services Singapore Private Limited

Would you like to be part of a communications team that is building awareness about how cloud technology is helping transform organizations across ASEAN? Are you passionate about the rapid change technology enables, and the positive impact it is having on people and the world around us?

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the leading provider of cloud computing services, providing IT infrastructure offerings ranging from on-demand compute capacity to storage, content delivery, and database services, to machine learning, Internet of Things, serverless technologies, and more. The AWS Public Relations (PR) team is at the forefront of shaping communications around the most advanced technologies on the planet and helping customers and partners maximize the benefits of cloud computing.

Since 2006, Amazon Web Services has been the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. AWS has more than 240 fully featured services across compute, storage, databases, networking, analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), mobile, security, hybrid, media, and application development, operating from 114 Availability Zones within 36 geographic regions, with announced plans for 12 more Availability Zones and four more AWS Regions in New Zealand, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, and the AWS European Sovereign Cloud. Millions of customers trust AWS to power their infrastructure, become more agile, and lower costs.

AWS seeks a self-motivated, well-connected, and experienced public relations professional to join the ASEAN PR Team. This role will drive communications campaigns telling the AWS story to diverse audiences - from technology leaders to government officials - through the core pillars of innovation, economic development, and social impact.

The ideal candidate must have proven experience managing regional communications programs across ASEAN, with strong project management skills. They will collaborate across the business to develop and execute communications plans for earned and owned content, while managing issues and providing strategic counsel. We're seeking a strategic communicator who embodies our Think Big philosophy - someone who can orchestrate creative, integrated campaigns while expertly managing agency relationships. The candidate should excel at multi-channel storytelling, demonstrate strong agency leadership, and bring proven experience in issues management and crisis communications. They must be able to unite internal teams and agency partners behind ambitious campaign visions that deliver measurable results.

The Communications Manager works closely with matrixed regional, international, and global PR, marketing, Public Policy and AR teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a highly creative and dynamic culture where breaking new ground is welcome. This role is based in Singapore and will require domestic and international travel.
