SHI is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cash Allocation Specialist to join our dynamic Accounts Receivable team. We are committed to delivering exceptional service and maintaining strong customer relationships. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately processing and allocating incoming payments while collaborating with the Accounts Receivable team to manage and reconcile customer accounts. A key aspect of the position involves proactively addressing and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner, as well as maintaining clear and effective communication with customers to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction. You will support the Accounts Receivable Manager and contribute to process improvements.
To succeed in this role, you should possess exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving, coupled with strong organizational skills and a drive for achieving results. While prior experience in cash allocation is preferred, it is not required, as we value candidates who demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
This position reports directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager and is based in our Milton Keynes office, with an expectation to be on-site three days a week.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the processing and reconciliation of accounts receivable and remittances.
Manage transactions involving multiple entities and various currencies, including EUR, GBP, USD, SEK, CHF, AUD, and SGD.
Address payment issues such as duplicate payments or other discrepancies.
Engage in collection management processes as necessary.
Maintain oversight of unallocated cash across the business.
Perform general ad hoc duties within the Accounts Receivable team as required.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in accounts receivable or cash application processes is preferred.
Experience with Blackline is advantageous but not required.

Additional Information:
Business working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break. However, due to the nature of the role, with its international reach and shared projects, working outside of these hours to service business needs will occur occasionally, and employees are expected to be readily available in these eventualities.
