Are you an energetic and motivating fitness professional with a desire to develop as a coach? We are seeking a Functional Fitness Coach to join the team of one of our clients who has several studios in London. As a Group Exercise Coach, you will have the opportunity to create a positive fitness experience for the members, helping them achieve their fitness goals, while having fun in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Lead a variety of group fitness classes, focusing on Functional Fitness, HIIT, and Strength and Conditioning.
Develop and deliver safe and effective workouts that cater to participants of different fitness levels and abilities.
Create a positive and inclusive environment that motivates and inspires class participants to reach their full potential.
Provide clear and concise instructions, demonstrating proper exercise techniques and modifications when necessary.
Offer encouragement, guidance, and support to participants throughout the class, ensuring a rewarding and enjoyable experience.
Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm, engaging participants and keeping them motivated throughout the session.
Monitor participants' form and technique, providing feedback and corrections as needed to prevent injuries and maximize results.
Stay current with industry trends and continuously expand your knowledge in fitness and exercise science.
Maintain a clean and organized workout space, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition and properly stored.
Collaborate with the fitness team and management to develop and promote new fitness programs and initiatives.
The Applicant
Nationally recognized fitness certification Level 2 or 3, plus appropriate qualification for each class.
Strong knowledge of exercise techniques, form, and safety protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire participants.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment where participants feel welcome and encouraged.
High energy level and enthusiasm for fitness and helping others achieve their goals.
First Aid certification is required.
Additional specialty certifications (e.g., Yoga, Pilates, Spinning) are highly desirable.
