Pricing & Commercial Lead – Innovation

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 (depending on skills, experience, and location)

This is a great role for someone who has experience in solving complex problems, spotting new market opportunities, and driving innovative commercial strategies. A bit about the job

As a Pricing and Commercial Lead within our Health Innovation team, you will play a key role in developing and implementing commercial strategies for new propositions. You will use your pricing expertise and analytical skills to evaluate market opportunities, ensuring our innovations are both customer-centric and commercially sustainable. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide insights and recommendations that influence strategic decision-making and help shape the future of our health business.

Skills and experience

  • Strong commercial background with experience in pricing, financial planning, and risk management.

  • Proficient using commercial pricing knowledge and innovative thinking to influence design and costing of new products and propositions.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and experience with at least one programming language (e.g. SQL, Python, R).

  • Ability to develop business cases and communicate complicated analysis to non-technical audiences.

  • A strong understanding of insurance pricing and distribution, ideally within the health sector.

What you’ll get for this role:

  • Starting salary between £55,000 and £60,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).

  • Bonus opportunity - 10% (D grade) of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
