Achilleus Security are NOW looking to Recruit Event / Football SIA Licensed Door Supervisors in the Norwich Area for work at events and venues.
We are welcoming applications from people that would like to join us at Achilleus Security as Part Time Casual Event / Football SIA Door Supervisors.
Our Event / Football / Stadium Safety Team are the lifeblood of our company and a vital part of any event or venue’s Security, Safety, and Customer Service Team. This position is only open to candidates that have enthusiasm and a desire to work and those that can meet the company’s strict recruitment criteria.
The type of work is varied and is as and when required.

Event / Football Safety Stewards & SIA Licensed Door Supervisors Will Receive:
- Good hourly rates of pay starting from:
- For team members that do not hold a Level 2 or Level 3 in Spectator Safety:
- Event / Football Security - In Training with SIA DS Licence From £12.82 - £13.06 per hour
- For Suitable Candidates In Training, There are SIA Response Team Positions £13.62 - £14.63 per hour
- For team members that do hold an NVQ or equivalent Level 2 or Level 3 in Spectator Safety:
- Event / Football Security - In Training with SIA DS Licence From £13.06 - £13.78 per hour
- For Suitable Candidates, there are SIA Response Team Positions From £14.63- £16.25 per hour
WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS
- Over 18 Years of age
- Hold a Current Valid SIA Door Supervisors License
- Have a good command of the English Language, both written and verbal.
- Hold a Level 2 or 3 Spectator Safety Qualification or Equivalent or be prepared to be working towards this qualification.
- Willing to work as part of a growing team.
- Prepared to develop their skills for the role via Continued Professional Development with our support.
- Applicants Must Be Able To Provide: Photographic proof of ID, Proof of right to work within the UK, Recent and relevant proofs of address, 5-year minimum checkable history – Vital Requirement!
- Be aware that the role includes mostly weekend and evening shift availability.
WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES
This role will see you responsible for the safety and security of employees and customers at events and venues where we work.
Regular Tasks & Duties Include:
- General Customer Services.
- Monitoring access and egress points.
- Providing Information and direction.
- Ensuring crowd safety plans and procedures are adhered to.
- Reporting any suspicious behaviour.
- Monitoring Crowds for distress, overcrowding and disorder.
- Ingress control – ticket validation, accreditation checks, and queries.
- Egress control – Observing safe egress from areas, including emergency evacuation.
- Reporting and recording details of accidents, irregularities, near misses, or incidents.
- Responding to accidents and incidents as directed.
- Maintaining safe working environments and health and safety management.
