As we embark on an exciting showroom expansion project, we are actively seeking an energetic, assertive, and experienced Assistant Showroom Manager to join our growing team!

Role and Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Showroom Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the showroom management team in ensuring the smooth operations of the dynamic and ever-changing showroom environment. Working closely with the Showroom Manager and collaborating with Account Managers, your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the success of each sale event.Your scheduled workdays will be Wednesday through Saturday, with the flexibility to work on other days as needed depending on the schedule.

Floor Management:

  • Assist in managing stock deliveries, inventory management, and stock returns, ensuring efficient processing and accurate documentation.
  • Support in the preparation and maintenance of product zoning/merchandising, helping to create visually appealing displays that enhance the customer experience.
  • Collaborate in product pricing and tagging processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the showroom.
  • Assist in managing customer access, queues, and sales transactions, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organised showroom environment, reflecting the luxury standards of our brand partners.
  • Support health and safety measures, risk management, and loss prevention protocols.

Team management:

  • Assist in coordinating and supporting a diverse team of permanent and temporary staff, ensuring they understand Arlettie's procedures and processes.
  • Contribute to team training initiatives, promoting a positive and collaborative work culture.
  • Support the management team in resource allocation and daily operational tasks.
  • Assist in monitoring team performance and providing feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2years of experience as an assistant manager in a fast paced retail environment.
  • A willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced luxury retail setting is essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and customers.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting the Showroom Manager and other team members.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a dynamic showroom environment.
