Job Title: Children's Permanence Social Worker

Salary: £36,648 - £40,221 per annum + £2,000 retention payment

Oldham Council is looking for passionate and committed Social Workers to join our Permanence Team. As a Permanence Social Worker, you will work to ensure that children in care receive high-quality support and achieve the best possible outcomes. Responsibilities:
Requirements:
Qualifications: Degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England.
Experience: At least two years' post-qualification experience, ideally within safeguarding, child protection, or permanence.
Skills: Strong assessment, planning, and decision-making skills.
Knowledge: Understanding of child development, attachment theory, and permanency planning.
Other Requirements: Ability to travel across Oldham.
