Test Rig Operator/ Lab Test Technician

• Contract - Min 4 months (potential to extend or go perm, not guaranteed)
• Work pattern: Night shift (6pm - 6am) - Monday to Thursday
• (PAYE or Outside IR35 available)
• £17.36 PAYE or:
• £22.80 Ltd (Outside IR35)
• Onsite working in NW London

Biochemistry/ Biology/ Medical experience is NOT relevant to this position.

Our client is a well-backed, London-based Clean-Tech Start-Up, developing innovative solutions for green hydrogen production.

The Opportunity

Our client needs x3 Lab Test Technicians to work on the night shift, running and monitoring the test rigs and interpreting the data from the rig.

You’ll work with high pressure, intermediate temperature test stands, carrying out the test plans and the projects they’re contributing to. Strong mechanical assembly skills are essential for this role.

Accountabilities

• Starting up and shutting down the rig
• Monitoring the data, identifying anomalies, and taking appropriate action
• Assembly and disassembly of test hardware and test equipment
• Adhering to SOPs

Additional Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in electrolyser cell system testing/test rigs
• Basic knowledge of data logging and hardware control
