An established industry player is seeking Collection & Delivery drivers to join their growing team in Bristol. This role involves planning delivery routes, performing vehicle safety checks, and ensuring timely collection and delivery of parcels to customers. Pertemps are recruiting Collection & Delivery drivers in Bristol, to join ParcelForce in their growing business.
About the role
You’ll start your day by planning your delivery route and carrying out safety checks on your vehicle. You’ll then collect and deliver parcels to households and businesses within your route. We are looking for individuals that will go above and beyond for ParcelForce customers.
Location: Unit 17 Concorde Road, Patchway Trading Estate, Bristol, BS34 5TB
Shift: Working Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday requirement.
Hours: 8am – 5pm (due to the nature of the business, flexibility is required).
Hourly Rate: £14.04 per hour basic rate (additional rate for overtime).
Contract: 16th April 2025 – 30th May 2025.
About you
Upbeat and self-motivated, you’ll be as happy working alone as well as part of a team. You’ll have a strong sense of community and the idea of doing a job that involves flexible working patterns will appeal to you. The role requires a physical aspect, so it’s important that you’re able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg.
Driving licence requirements
A full UK manual driving licence is required (in your current UK address). No more than six penalty points is essential, but a clean licence is preferred. Your licence will need to cover up to 3.5 tonnes (Cat B).
