Junior Building Services Design Engineer

Location: Basingstoke
Full-time Permanent
Salary: GBP30k to GBP40k DOE

Are you a motivated graduate or early-career Design engineer with a passion for sustainable building design? We are looking for a Junior/Graduate Building Services Design Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across residential, commercial, education, and healthcare sectors, supporting the design and delivery of innovative and energy-efficient building services systems.

What You'll Do:

1. Assist in the design of Building Services HVAC systems
2. Produce detailed design drawings, calculations, and specifications
3. Support senior engineers with project delivery from concept to completion
4. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and clients
5. Gain hands-on experience with industry software (e.g. AUTOCAD, REVIT, CYMAP)
6. Pipe sizing, duct sizing, pressure drop calculations

What We're Looking For:

1. Ideally Degree or HND in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
2. Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to learn
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills
4. Basic knowledge of building services design principles
5. Familiarity with CAD software is desirable (training will be provided)
