Position: Science Teacher (KS3-KS4)
Location: Epsom, Surrey
Contract: Full-Time/Part-Time & Permanent/Supply
Start Date: January 2025
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

About the Role:

1. Teach Science across KS3 and KS4, covering core subjects within Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
2. Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that align with the National Curriculum and inspire a love for Science.
3. Prepare students for GCSE exams by promoting critical thinking, scientific curiosity, and problem-solving skills.
4. Collaborate with the Science Department to develop resources and share best practices.
5. Track and assess student progress, offering tailored feedback and support to ensure students reach their potential.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Science.
2. Proven experience teaching Science up to KS4, with strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum.
3. A commitment to inclusive, student-centred learning that caters to diverse abilities and backgrounds.
4. Strong communication and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to classroom management.
5. A passion for Science and the drive to inspire curiosity and achievement in students.
