Overview

The role in a nutshell

We’re looking for an ambitious Director with extensive experience in the Consumer Tech and Tech space, to join us on our exciting journey and help us grow.

Responsibilities

Key Skills & Responsibilities

1. Develop a robust, strategic vision on tech and consumer tech clients with a big knack for creative, progressive and 360 campaign work.
2. Act as one of our most senior PR experts, a specialist source of knowledge for tech/consumer tech market and industry trends within the practice and wider Groupe network; promoting and cross-selling our offer in Groupe and across market to maximise opportunities.
3. Unlock growth across clients, with a particular focus on PR and the consumer tech/tech space building both organic and ‘new new’ opportunities.
4. Understand and communicate strategic opportunities for our clients.
5. Lead a key tech/consumer tech client and team, ensuring KPIs are being met, and exceeded. Ensuring the right team and practices are in place for success.
6. Collaborate closely with Managing Partners, playing a key role on decision making/qualifying of new business opportunities; proactively being able to lead and drive new business wins.
7. Drive fresh and diverse talent attraction and growth to ensure the right blend of skills and experience are in place to deliver against our ambitions.
8. Maintain effective operations, commercial control, and client development activity – ensuring the highest quality and creative standards are maintained across a client portfolio of over £1.25M revenue per annum.
9. Responsible for the annual PR commercial plans for full year commitment and quarterly re-forecasts alongside the senior leadership team.
10. Champion client team activity and success, rewarding and recognising great work.

Qualifications

Attributes & Qualities

1. Experience in a similar senior PR role in a global networked agency, leading a tech/consumer tech account.
2. Known and respected in the industry, well-connected.
3. Track record for pitching and winning big tech/consumer tech brands; driving initiatives.
4. Experience in overseeing both tech and consumer tech PR campaigns and clients, for both global and in-market briefs.
5. An inspiring leader – experienced in developing, motivating, and leading diverse teams and achieving great results together.
6. Ability to balance being hands-on when/where needed vs. setting up wider teams for success.
7. True hunger to build and own senior client relationships.
