Job description

McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a highly regarded Corporate Finance Boutique who are looking to recruit a Corporate Finance Associate Director to work in their Central London offices. Encompassing deal origination, structuring and execution, negotiating and closing transactions (mainly sell side deals across all sectors), you will gain exposure to a range of clients, transaction structures and business development activities. Key duties include:

  1. Supporting the Senior Leadership Team with originating, structuring, negotiating and closing corporate finance transactions
  2. Taking the lead on behalf of clients and managing multiple projects and transactions at any given time
  3. Proactively seeking out client origination opportunities including networking events, company seminars and making direct approaches
  4. Supporting new business development by attending client pitches, pitch document preparation and leading the pitch meeting where necessary
  5. Lead end-to-end stages of transactions from fact finding, purchaser and financial analysis, deal WIP/road-mapping and ongoing reviews
  6. Delegating/assisting with all aspects of the sale/fund raising process from money laundering, IM preparation, research, NDA documents, DD work and Heads of Terms
  7. Driving the transaction timetable on corporate finance deals, ensuring quality on all client deliverables & that transaction milestones are met
  8. Leading and coaching junior members of the CF team including Analysts and Managers
  9. Interacting across the business to form a strong management group that communicate and share knowledge around key issues impacting business performance
  10. Developing strong relationships with clients & third parties including law firms, funders/banks and accounting firms

To be considered for the Corporate Finance Associate Director role you should ideally be degree-educated and an ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant with relevant corporate finance origination experience either from a Top4/Top10 Auditing firm or another CF Boutique. You should have strong deal structuring & modelling skills, business development skills, staff management skills and bring significant commercial awareness/acumen to the role. They are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who is driven, ambitious, laser focused on delivery of deals with excellent interpersonal and project-management skills.

On offer is a base salary up to £110,000 + significant bonuses + 25 days holiday + pension.
