We are seeking a Training Manager to create, develop, and roll out impactful training programmes throughout SYTECH. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in encouraging a culture of ongoing learning and development, equipping our teams with the skills, competencies and expertise needed to achieve SYTECH’s strategic objectives and provide outstanding service to our clients.

The successful candidate will also play a key role in supporting the career development of our employees, working with them to establish and achieve individual development plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Programme Development: Design and deliver engaging, high-quality training programmes tailored to the needs of various teams within the company.
  • Skills Analysis: Conduct skills and training needs assessments to identify gaps and create targeted learning paths.
  • Career Development Support: Collaborate with employees and managers to establish individual development plans, aligning training initiatives with personal career goals and SYTECH’s strategic objectives.
  • Instructional Design: Develop learning materials, online resources, and instructional guides that adhere to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Onboarding and Induction: Oversee the induction and onboarding training for new employees to ensure a smooth and informative transition into SYTECH.
  • Performance Support: Work closely with department heads to provide learning solutions that enhance performance, address skill gaps, and support team goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes and adjust as needed to enhance learning outcomes and career progression.
  • Compliance Training: Ensure all training aligns with legal and regulatory standards, particularly in the digital forensics and cybersecurity fields.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Track and report on training participation, feedback, and outcomes, demonstrating the impact of learning and development initiatives.

Additionally, the Training Manager will be involved in the externalisation/commercialisation of training services, including delivery of external training packages to delegates.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Training Manager or in a similar learning and development role.
  • Experience in designing and implementing training programmes, ideally within technology, cybersecurity, or digital forensics.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certification in training or instructional design (desirable).

Salary: £34,000 - 55,000 per annum - depending on your experience, skills, and qualifications, plus the opportunity for growth based on your performance and contributions to the role.
