Title: Senior Planning Engineer
Location: Warrington (Hybrid - 3 days on site / 2 days remote)
Salary: £60-78,000 + benefits package

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planning Engineer to join a main contractor on a major framework offering long-term secured work in the region.

The Senior Planning Engineer will become a vital part of an established and experienced team, leading the planning function for a variety of complex projects within the major framework. The Senior Planning Engineer will utilize their expertise to ensure seamless project execution, from pre-construction through to completion, while leveraging the latest planning tools and technologies.

Duties

1. Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
2. Provide detailed planning and scheduling support across a diverse portfolio of live schemes within the framework.
3. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and key stakeholders to align project timelines and objectives.
4. Monitor project performance, report progress, and provide accurate forecasts and variance analysis.
5. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, promoting best practices in project planning and controls.

Candidate

1. Proven experience as a Planning Engineer within the construction industry, ideally with exposure to large frameworks or major infrastructure projects.
2. Expertise in Primavera P6 is essential.
3. Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery processes.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
5. A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
