Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
- Drafting and coordinating Travel Plans
- Preparing and presenting technical data and drawings
- Conducting junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and local/national authorities
- Ensuring all tasks are delivered on time and within budget
- Supporting senior colleagues in providing advice on highways and transport matters
- Conducting site appraisals and designing surveys
- Keeping electronic and paper project files up to date
- Assisting with other transport-related tasks as required
What We're Looking For:
Education & Experience:
- Degree in Transport Planning, Geography, or Civil Engineering
- Understanding or experience of UK Transport Planning standards and processes
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Strong numeracy skills and ability to work with spreadsheets
- Experience using ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
- AutoCAD experience is a plus
Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- Professional and approachable when liaising with clients and colleagues
