Area Sales Manager

Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Manager is required to join a leading manufacturer, distributor, and developer of industrial valves.

The successful candidate will come from a mechanical sales background or have previous experience in selling a range of Thermic Fluid Systems, Steam Traps, and Valves including isolation valves, control valves, actuators, and heat exchange packages.

This role is remote, covering the north of Scotland, including Perth, Dundee, Aberdeen, and Inverness.

Package:

• £50,000 - £60,000
• Bonus up to 30%

Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Manager Role:

• Selling a range of Thermic Fluid Systems and Steam Traps such as isolation valves, control valves, safety valves, actuators, and heat exchange packages.
• Identifying and acquiring new market potential.
• Liaising with the internal and external sales team and other engineering departments when required.
• Working with various industries such as food and beverage, healthcare, distilleries, and others.
• Selling a wide variety of valves and control-related products to contractors, OEMs, end-users, and distributors.
• Travel will be required within the northern belt of Scotland, including locations such as Perth, Dundee, Aberdeen, and Inverness.

Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Manager Requirements:

• Experience as Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Engineer with knowledge of mechanical products such as Thermic Fluid Systems, Steam Traps, and Valves including isolation valves, control valves, actuators, and heat exchange packages.
• An engineering qualification of some sort would be beneficial.
• Have sold Thermic Fluid Systems, Steam Traps, and Valves including isolation valves, control valves, actuators, and heat exchange packages or similar.
• Willingness to travel across northern Scotland, including the postcodes of Perth, Dundee, Aberdeen, and Inverness.
• Must have a Full UK Driving License.
