Job Description:

Our client is a leading pensions consultancy and due to expansion they are recruiting for a DB, Final Salary Senior Pensions Administrator to work at the forefront of the team. The job is available due to new business wins and further expansion, and the successful applicant will be in a key role managing their own set of DB and some DC schemes.

Previous technical defined benefit/final salary pensions experience is essential, and some experience in client management and Defined Contribution schemes would be beneficial. Professional qualifications such as PMI are desirable, but not essential; they will support you in gaining such qualifications. A background within a third-party environment is also desirable but not essential.

You will be working with clients who have a mixture of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes. Technical knowledge of cradle-to-grave pensions administration is required, along with a thorough understanding of scheme rules, current legislation, and project management.

Responsibilities include interacting with trustees, actuaries, and high-net-worth individuals/employers. There will also be quality checking, training/coaching involved while working at a senior level, and elements of client-facing time.
