Job description

Proclinical is seeking a Principal Biostatistician to oversee the programming activities for impactful studies. This position requires a focus on oncology and involves collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. This is a fully remote working position based within the United Kingdom and Europe.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead biostatistics and programming activities for complex studies.
  • Provide statistical input into study design, sample size calculations, and randomization schemes.
  • Review project database structures and data management coding conventions.
  • Prepare statistical analysis plans and design tables, figures, and data listings for clinical reports.
  • Conduct statistical analysis, interpret data, and report results.
  • Write and review statistical methods sections of integrated study reports.
  • Support responses to regulatory questions and participate in client presentations.
  • Prepare biostatistics input for research proposals and participate in proposal defense meetings.
Key Skills and Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in statistics, biostatistics, or related field.
  • Experience in oncology required.
  • Strong knowledge of study designs and statistical analysis applications.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in statistical software packages, including SAS.
  • Experience leading regulatory submissions.
  • Ability to translate client needs into statistical practice and educate clients.
