I am working with an exceptional client of mine who is highly regarded within the industry. They are looking for an engineering planner to join the successful team.

Job: Engineering planner
Package: £40,
Shift: Monday to Friday
Location: Boston

Role

1. Responsible for own compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, Legal and Quality system on site
2. Be the site level SME (Subject Matter Expert) on the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software, train the local engineering team in its use
3. Ensure site level equipment, spare parts and minimum holding levels are correctly recorded in the system, to ensure a total cost of ownership be ascertained for each asset
4. Formal KPI’s are produced to show progress against the Maintenance improvement journey
5. Support and drive engineering improvements by identifying projects to improve onsite maintenance and asset reliability
6. To produce a maintenance plan for a 12-month timeframe and issue a weekly maintenance plan for the maintenance teams.
7. Lead the Formal weekly engineering planning meeting
8. All stock items are listed on the CMMS system with supplier and price

Requirements/Experience

1. Experience working in an Engineering/Technical environment
2. Leadership
3. Organisational skills
4. Understanding of SAP CMMS and implementation of Planned Maintenance
