We are a rapidly growing crypto hedge fund, 2 years old, managing a 9-figure AUM, generating 200%+ annualized returns with a 4 Sharpe.

We are seeking researchers for our new real-time information flows team. We believe there is a window of opportunity to build a capability of reacting to crypto market moving events that is currently unexploited.

• You have experience exploiting alpha from market-moving events in the traditional markets and are eager to bring that experience to crypto.
• It is highly likely you're crypto-native and already have an idea of what sources, individuals, and topics are worth tracking.

This is an opportunity to:

• Bring your TradFi experience to a new nascent asset class where there is plenty of alpha to be harvested.
• Work with some of the best crypto researchers and traders, proven with track record.

Your Responsibility

• Brainstorming and creating alerts
  • Constantly brainstorm additional sources to put into our real-time information (RTI) system
  • Optimize alerts based on precision/recall scores
  • Maintain an extremely detailed calendar of material events.
• Monitoring and quality assurance
  • Enable, disable, and update alerts as market conditions change.
  • Constantly review alerts to ensure they are relevant, robust, and resilient
  • Wake-up, analyze, and alert the firm to market moving events
• Working with our technical team
  • Direct product development of our real-time event detection and alerting system
  • QA/UAT and test all releases of alerts and product to ensure they meet trading and research needs

FAQ

Is previous crypto experience necessary?

No, we prefer candidates who are coming from premier TradFi buy-side hedge funds.

However, we expect all candidates to have a strong interest in digital assets and ideally trade or invest in their personal account.
