ROLE PURPOSE

The Curriculum & Quality Lead for Science will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective development, delivery, and ongoing improvement of the science education curriculum. This role combines leadership in curriculum design, quality assurance, and also direct teaching responsibilities. The individual will be instrumental in maintaining educational standards, fostering innovation in teaching, and supporting both students and faculty in meeting academic and professional goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure all learners receive the highest quality experience across their learner journey and in line with company expectations and external requirements.
2. Plan the learners' intent within the ILP and ensure robust IAG starts the learner journey.
3. Implement teaching and facilitate learning, adhering not only to the standards of the apprenticeship programme but the wider skills beyond it.
4. Operate within the delivery framework to maintain operational consistency and ensure learner and quality progress.
5. Ensure all your professional practice records are up to date to ensure reporting to management is accurate.
6. Deliver KPI's in line with our clients expectations.
7. Forge and maintain relationships with teams in order to support the delivery of the business plan.
8. Participate and lead on internal quality assurance activities and training, working closely with the Head of Quality and Delivery.
9. Maintain and enhance relationships with existing learners and clients assuring the organisations brand is synonymous with and recognised for quality of service.
10. Represent the organisation on public occasions, such as recruitment events and to promote the best interests of the organisation by creating a positive impression of the organisation.
11. Maintain strong links with team members, ensuring all activity is complementary and utilises the existing knowledge, expertise and resources.
12. Manage your own continued professional development through undertaking relevant training and sharing of best practice.
13. Promote equal opportunities and recognition of diversity throughout the company.
14. Comply with the Safeguarding, Prevent and Health and Safety Policies and be always vigilant to potential concerns and risks.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

1. Experience within Quality or Curriculum Management
2. Have a strong background in Bioscience
