Pricing Director

Totum Partners is assisting a leading City law firm in its search for a new Pricing Director. Reporting to the CFO, the Pricing Director will develop and implement strategies to enhance profitability and competitiveness across the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. This role involves close collaboration with the Finance, Business Development, and other departments to ensure effective pricing and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct the firm's annual rates review.
2. Collaborate with the Finance team for accurate pricing and financial forecasting.
3. Lead pricing conversations to deliver commercial options.
4. Work closely with the Business Development team to integrate pricing strategies with business initiatives.
5. Manage a team of pricing analysts and coordinators.
6. Deliver training on pricing negotiations.
7. Conduct market research and analysis.
8. Liaise with clients for tailored solutions.
9. Implement and manage pricing systems and technology.
10. Provide regular reports to senior management on pricing performance and strategy.

Minimum Requirements:

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, with extensive experience in pricing strategy development and implementation within the legal or professional services industry. Essential skills include strong analytical abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven leadership experience, and proficiency in pricing systems and technology, including Power BI. Experience in an international law firm or professional services firm, knowledge of legal pricing and billing practices, and familiarity with market trends and competitor pricing strategies are also required.
