Corporate Finance Debt Director / MD / Partner – London Build & Lead the UK Debt Advisory Team | Entrepreneurial Opportunity

Our client is a powerhouse in global M&A, with hundreds of bankers worldwide and a stellar reputation across mid-market and large-cap transactions. Their Debt Advisory team, launched two years ago in Europe and the US, has already gained strong traction, and they are now looking to establish and scale their UK presence.

This is a leadership role (or grow into the leadership role) in London, backed by a highly collegiate UK M&A team and an established European Debt Advisory team. The firm has deep relationships with private equity (covering both new and old money deals), and the incoming Debt Director / MD / Partner will be pivotal in driving the UK franchise.

Candidate Requirements:

• Debt Advisory or Bank Lending Finance expertise – background in a CA firm, mid-tier lending bank (LBO or corporate team), or advisory business.
• Some PE Coverage Experience – a strong network across UK PE firms is preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset – someone ready to build, hustle, and make things happen, with the ambition to grow the UK team.
• Deal ticket size: €30-300m – experience within this range is key.
