Financial Controller - Derry

With a strong commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, they are currently recruiting for a commercially astute Financial Controller who will be pivotal in driving financial strategy.

The Role:

  • Lead and direct a small finance team, including financial and management accounting processes, P&L and Balance Sheet review, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure complete financial control is maintained including compliance with applicable GAAP, corporate accounting policy and audit requirements.
  • Oversee monthly reporting for site, and communication of results to all stakeholders.
  • Oversee the Monthly R&O and quarterly forecasting process.
  • Participate in formulating and delivering business strategy.
  • Provide support to commercial decision-making processes and business development.
  • Ensure annual planning and budgeting process is delivered on time.
  • Provide cash flow analysis.
  • Support successful implementation of new IT systems and structures.
  • Support and approve all Capex strategy.

About you

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Proven management experience in a commercial environment.
  • Significant experience as a financial or business analyst.
  • Must have expert Microsoft Office Products experience, specifically with Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Word as well as the ability to learn corporate ERP system.
  • Confident in dealing with senior stakeholders.
