Account Manager - Buying and Procurement

If so, our client is very successful and expanding due to gaining contracts and accounts with both UK and International customers.

This role will give you an opportunity to source and investigate products that your clients need for large-scale projects from a network of global suppliers. These products must meet technical and commercial requirements for the business, so negotiating competitive terms to get the best deals is key.

There is an element of upselling and maximizing orders, so previous soft sales-based training would be ideal.

Responsibilities:

• Responding to client quote requests and understanding requirements
• Investigating and sourcing products/equipment from global suppliers to specifications
• Negotiating pricing and payment terms with suppliers
• Building and maintaining strong relationships
• Meeting and adhering to SLAs, KPIs, and customer expectations
• Providing innovative and timely solutions

Skills & Experience:

• Ability to be proactive and enjoy working in a results-driven environment reaching KPIs
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize
• Ability to work under pressure and problem-solve
• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on increasing company revenue
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Core Working Hours:

• 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary:

• GBP 28,000 - GBP 35,000 basic depending on experience
• Bonus uncapped with high ability to earn based on performance! (additional GBP 10k+)
