Job description

Our client, a well-respected independent retailer, is looking to recruit an experienced Diagnostic Technician, ideally with Land Rover or Jaguar experience for their business in Harpenden, Hertfordshire.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic services and repairs for Land Rover and Jaguar vehicles. Your primary responsibilities include:

1. Performing accurate diagnoses and troubleshooting vehicle faults.
2. Conducting repairs and carrying out routine servicing according to manufacturer standards.
3. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
4. Contributing to overall workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction.

As such, you will be a fully qualified motor technician with NVQ Level 3 and at least 5 years of franchise dealer or independent experience. You will also assist in mentoring junior technicians, providing guidance on best practices and manufacturer standards, and staying up to date on Jaguar Land Rover’s technical developments to share knowledge with colleagues.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm - flexibility may be required based on workload and customer needs.

The package includes pension, training and development opportunities, Jaguar Land Rover specific training and certification, and a very competitive salary with a £40,000 OTE.
