Location: Spalding

Salary: Up to £28,500 per annum

Benjamin Edwards are recruiting for a Finance Coordinator to join a friendly finance team for a successful and rapidly growing business in Spalding. As Finance Coordinator, you will provide financial and administrative support, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and be involved in the continual development of finance processes.

The Role of the Finance Coordinator

1. Daily sales and purchase ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met
2. Liaising with internal and external customers/suppliers, including credit control
3. Processing bank payments and receipts and reconciliation
4. Providing financial information to the business as required to enable decision making
5. First line of support to the Receptionist, including site access
6. Assistance with periodic reporting and year-end audit
7. Proactively working with other departments to continually review and improve processes
8. Maintaining high standards of health and safety awareness, including involvement in fire drills
9. Company clerical duties, to include post, stationery, insurance, petty cash, and vehicle administration

Skills and Qualifications required for the Finance Coordinator

1. Experience of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
2. AAT Level 2 Accounting or equivalent by experience, is desirable
3. Excellent Customer Service / Communication skills
4. Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
5. Excellent planning, organising skills and attention to detail
6. Experience of working in FMCG/Manufacturing industry is desirable
