Are you an experienced accountant looking for a client-focused role within a well-established and reputable firm? Our client, a long-standing and highly respected 3-partner accountancy practice, is seeking a Client Manager to join their team.

With a strong history of providing high-quality service to a diverse portfolio of businesses, this firm is known for its supportive culture, professional development opportunities, and commitment to building long-term client relationships.

What will the Client Manager role involve?

  1. Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring high levels of service and technical excellence.
  2. Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts, tax returns, and management accounts.
  3. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, providing advisory support on business and financial matters.
  4. Supervising and mentoring junior team members, reviewing their work, and supporting their development.
  5. Liaising with HMRC, ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
  6. Identifying opportunities to enhance client services, including advisory and value-added offerings.

Suitable Candidate for the Client Manager vacancy:
  1. ACA/ACCA qualified (or QBE with extensive experience in an accountancy practice).
  2. Proven experience in managing client relationships within an accountancy firm.
  3. Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax principles.
  4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear advice to clients.
  5. Experience in supervising and mentoring junior team members.
