Treasury Management Specialist I (Remote Eligible: AZ, FL, KS, MO, NM, NV, TX)
Job Description:
Summary:
Provide service and support for existing Treasury Management (TM) clients. Coordinate onboarding and training for new clients. When possible, cross sell TM products and services to existing clients.
This position will be responsible for working with TMO’s, RM’s and clients to establish client needs and prepare bank legal documents to establish such services. Once systems are set up by Operations, this position will work with clients (on-site and by telephone) to install services, train client supervisors and users, and troubleshoot problem issues (sometimes technical) as they arise.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Setting up new TM services, researching and resolving customer issues, identifying and troubleshooting systems-related problems and ensuring operational integrity of accounts and processes consistent with Bank policies and procedures and legal/regulatory requirements.
- Independently processing client setups requiring knowledge of procedures and/or regulatory requirements, placing and responding to internal calls, utilizing multiple Bank systems to complete duties, exercising judgment and making decisions having impact on customer accounts or EB&T operations and sending correspondence to customers.
- Working closely with deposit operations for physical set-up and/or deployment of new client products and services that include, but are not limited to, Online Banking, ACH origination, Remote Deposit, Lockbox, Positive Pay, and ACH Debit Filter.
- Ensuring smooth and efficient banking transition for our clients.
- Providing telephone support to internal treasury management staff on product and services.
- After implementation, reviewing client analysis statements for accuracy to ensure proper fees are being collected.
- Troubleshooting client issues and providing timely resolution to the client.
- Performing daily functions in a timely manner without jeopardizing quality and accuracy.
- Maintaining confidentiality of client information.
- Maintaining treasury client data within Salesforce.
- Completing all client relationship reviews, working with TMO’s, RM’s, credit analysts, and others to collect comprehensive client relationship and opportunity information.
- Utilizing client contacts for assistance as an opportunity to cross-sale additional services.
- Providing special project management for managers and TMO’s as needed.
- Performing other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Strong math and problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to cross sale products and services
- Must maintain confidentiality of client transactions and bank records
- Team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
- Good phone voice with professional and well-groomed appearance
- Ability to interview customers and understand requests
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, such as computer work stations, typewriters, calculators, and copier
- Ability to prioritize; handle multiple tasks; and work independently
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy
- Thorough knowledge of bank operations, products, and services offered at the bank
- Knowledge of banking laws and regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act
- Knowledge of treasury products and account analysis
- Excellent problem solving skills.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent plus one to three years banking and/or Treasury Management experience
Computer Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
