We are looking for dynamic and flexible Care Support Workers to join our Medicine Clinical Business Unit.

The role of the care support worker is imperative to the health and well-being of our patients, as you will support them with their personal hygiene, toileting, mobility and nutritional needs.
The successful candidates will need to have excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for caring for others. The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment, delivering care to acutely unwell patients. Formal care experience is desirable; however, we also welcome those with informal care and life experience to apply. The candidate will be expected to work a mixture of shift patterns.

If successful, you will be supported to complete The Care Certificate. Once all 15 modules have been assessed as competent, you will be awarded with a nationally recognised qualification and you will be equipped to provide compassionate, safe and high-quality care and support to our patients and their relatives.
The post holder will work as part of the multidisciplinary team delivering a range of designated tasks/duties of a clinical and non-clinical nature including personal compassionate care to patients, working within agreed policy and procedures.
The post holder will work under the supervision of the NMC Registrant at all times, who holds delegated accountability for the work designated.
