What are we looking for?
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Senior Product Marketing Manager to join the Checkmarx team. You will play a key role in defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for Checkmarx’ product portfolio, including Checkmarx One, ASPM, and more, with global responsibility for positioning, messaging, and cross-functional alignment.
How will you make an impact?
- Establishing the unique value proposition for Checkmarx products, with a clear understanding of the target markets and buyer personas.
- Developing product positioning and messaging that connects the dots between the benefits we provide and how our products and capabilities provide them, while demonstrating clear differentiation against competitors.
- Creating compelling and high-quality content at every stage of the funnel that weaves together business and technical messages, in a variety of formats including written, web, video, and presentations.
- Collaborating with the broader marketing team, product management, and sales to launch new products and support integrated marketing campaigns to generate sales pipeline.
- Developing enablement materials to arm the sales team with strategies and competitive intelligence that increase sales productivity and pipeline conversion.
- Being a subject-matter expert and customer-facing resource for marketing and sales teams, in both sales engagements and regional marketing events.
Requirements
What is needed to succeed?
- 5+ years in product marketing or equivalent experience.
- Enterprise software experience, working at B2B technology companies selling into large enterprises, with a multi-product portfolio or a platform.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or Business, or equivalent B2B software experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Industry knowledge of cybersecurity, software development, and/or cloud infrastructure.
- Compelling storyteller with the ability to create product stories that resonate with and win over diverse audiences, including C-level, security teams, and developers.
- Strong technical aptitude in security- and/or software-related technologies and proven ability to establish credibility with product management, technical pre-sales, and customers.
- Intellectual curiosity with the desire and ability to understand complex technical concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a broad range of technical and business audiences.
- Situational fluency, ability to influence and motivate others, and perseverance to handle challenging business situations.
- Able to design and articulate a strategy that considers and wins over internal stakeholders with different and sometimes competing priorities.
