Health Insurance Account Handler
Location: London (Remote/Hybrid Working)
Salary: £30,000 - £55,000 (DOE) per annum + Bonuses + Benefits

Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded insurance brokerage in London for an experienced Healthcare Insurance Account Handler. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established firm, providing expert advice and managing policies for a range of clients. If you have at least 2 years of brokerage experience in Group Risk and Private Medical Insurance (PMI) and are confident in handling renewals and client relationships, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Administer and service existing clients by handling policy renewals, processing adjustments, preparing presentations for insurers, negotiating premiums, and ensuring a smooth client experience.
  2. Provide expert advice on health/private medical insurance, including group risk policies, travel insurance, and cash plans.
  3. Identify opportunities for cross-selling insurance and related products based on client needs and contribute to generating new business from referrals or company leads.
  4. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and procedures, including health and safety, data security, and fair customer treatment.
  5. Build strong relationships with clients, confidently discuss policy details, provide professional advice, and represent the company in a knowledgeable and authoritative manner.

Key Candidate Requirements:
  1. At least 2 years of experience as a broker dealing with group risk and private medical insurance (PMI). This is a non-negotiable requirement.
  2. Prior experience working as an Account Executive within a brokerage, demonstrating the ability to handle renewals and some new business.
  3. Strong understanding of health/private medical insurance policies, including renewals, claims, policy adjustments, and insurer negotiations.
  4. Confident in speaking with clients, providing expert advice, and maintaining strong professional relationships.
