Job description

Nursery Teacher - Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join a well-established school in South Liverpool. This full-time role is available immediately and will run until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for early years pupils, ensuring they develop essential skills for their educational journey. Candidates MUST hold QTS in the UK to be considered for this position.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of nursery-age children.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff to support children's individual needs.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to provide updates on pupil progress.
  • Ensure all activities align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Previous experience working with nursery-age children in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
  • Ability to engage young learners through creative and interactive teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
