Home Care Assistant at Oran Care (Transfer Visas Available)

Oran Care is looking for compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants in Angus to provide high-quality support to individuals in their own homes. This role is ideal for those with a genuine desire to care for others and a willingness to learn. You will play a vital role in helping vulnerable individuals, including those with dementia or other health conditions, maintain their independence and well-being.

Hours:

All Care Workers follow a condensed repeating schedule:

Week 2: Monday, Thursday, Friday

Full-time Care Workers are on the rota for a full day, while part-time Care Workers are on the rota for half a day. You will be required to work every 2nd weekend.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide essential support to service users in their own homes.
  • Promote independence in daily tasks while adhering to individual care plans.
  • Assist service users with personal care in line with their specific needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe home environment, free from health and safety hazards.
  • Maintain detailed record-keeping.

Work Location: People’s Homes in the Local Community
