Job description

We are looking for experienced academic tutors. Preferred PhD students/graduates. £30.00 to £80.00 /hour. $40 - 110 per hour. If the person we just described sounds like you, we would love to have you join us as an Online Academic Tutor. We are looking for responsive, innovative, detail-oriented candidates who can design courses, teach, and interact with students.

At iOneDIY, we are a UK-based multinational EdTech company with our head office based in London and Shanghai. We provide a series of self-developed IT programs, AI systems, and Social Media apps to overseas students. We're also focusing on providing international education relevant services to international and local students who wish to enroll in various university programs such as Bachelor, Master & PhD at world top universities. You will be working closely with our clients (students), remotely, and will be tasked to guide and help with their Bachelor/Master/PhD applications. You will also be tasked to teach and provide guidance about their academics.

Duties:

1. Design and create innovative teaching content.
2. Be responsive and responsible in meeting strict deadlines.
3. Analyze the feedback of content and adjust presenting strategy when necessary.
4. Coordinate and attend remote marketing campaigns when necessary.

Requirements:

1. Alumni from a world-class English-taught university, preferably in the UK, U.S, Canada, Australia, Singapore, HK, or Europe.
2. Bachelor or Master graduates with 1st class or Distinction grade as a minimum requirement.
3. Current PhD student or PhD degree holder is preferable.
4. Mandarin speaker with fluent English and native English speaker are preferable. Other language speakers with fluent English are also accepted.
5. Detail-oriented and self-motivated in a remote work capacity.
6. Excellent written and presentation skills.
7. Highly energetic and enthusiastic, with a solid work ethic and pop culture savvy.
8. Able to speak and write in English with academic excellence.
9. A natural inclination to stay connected via email, phone, and WeChat.
10. An amazing ability to stay organized and manage complex projects.
11. Able to work accurately, efficiently, and independently, paying strict attention to detail particularly during times of high volume.
