Housekeeping room attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.

Responsibilities

1. Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met.
2. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
3. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings to maintain a pristine environment.
4. Clean bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors, ensuring they are hygienic and well-stocked with supplies.
5. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
6. Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens.
7. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
8. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.

Qualifications

1. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
2. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
3. Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
4. A positive attitude with strong customer service skills is essential for interacting with guests.
5. Ability to lift and move items up to 20 kilograms safely.
6. Basic cooking skills would be advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £6.40-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 24 per week
