Job description

Do you currently work in Construction? Are you a Forklift driver looking for work? Do you hold a valid CPCS/NPORS CSCS card? If the answers are yes, we have roles opening with a reputable Construction company in the Godalming area.

Role: Forklift driver

Location: Goddalming

Contract type: Temporary (Full time)

Start date: TBC

Duration: TBC

Pay rate: £20 - £21 per hour.

The company:

A well-established contractor that operates in various sectors such as industrials, education, commercial, and refurbishment.

The role:

1. Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
2. Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks.
3. Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
4. Checking loads are secure.
5. Stacking empty pallets.
6. Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
7. Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines.

About you:

Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential. Strong work ethic in a team. Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact in a standalone position.

To be successful in your application for this role, you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

1. A current and valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS experienced driver ticket.
2. A minimum of 3 years+ experience operating a Forklift in the same environment.
