We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated and skilled SEND Employability Hub Operational Officer. This is a full time, term time only opportunity.

Duties:

  1. To develop and deliver a joined up and high performing employability offer for SEND young people which maximizes progressions into sustained employment.
  2. To develop links and progression pathways for SEND Employability Hub learners into meaningful and sustainable employment opportunities (Apprenticeships, Paid Employment, Supported Internships).
  3. To work with local feeder school SENCo’s and identify Year 11 potential Hub students and develop transition for those identified.
  4. To work with the marketing team to promote the Hub with bespoke target audience.
  5. To develop personal progression/learner plan/vocational profiling with accredited employability elements.
  6. To lead on the EHCP annual reviews for Hub students, liaising with colleagues to deliver individual reviews with all hub activities related to in PfA outcomes.

Skills/Experience:

  1. Experience of planning sequential lessons to meet outcome.
  2. Experience of coaching individuals to achieve a goal.
  3. Experience of working with EHCP high needs students.
  4. An innate desire to secure the best possible outcomes for all students, including those with SEND.
  5. Excellent communication and listening skills.

Qualifications:

  1. Maths and English level 2 or above.
  2. Relevant qualifications in any of the following areas: counselling/IAG/mentoring/coaching.
