DevOps Engineer - €45,000 - €50,000 Remote (with travel to the office once/month).

About the Role:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join an innovative and fast-paced team working on a major re-platforming project. This role is an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a serverless and functionless environment, focusing on Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Learn and integrate into existing systems from day one.
2. Play a key role in a large-scale replatforming project, replacing legacy systems.
3. Work on the code side of Terraform and continuous development pipelines.
4. Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and BitBucket.
5. Collaborate with development teams in a highly available, cloud-based infrastructure.
6. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including retrospectives and morning stand-ups.
7. Work with AWS to enhance observability, security, and system performance.
8. Attend monthly in-person meetings and social events (first day on-site).

Required Skills & Experience:

1. A couple of years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
2. Strong experience with Terraform (bolted into the environment).
3. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
4. Experience in web application development or a closely related environment.
5. Hands-on experience with AWS services (certifications are a plus).
6. Knowledge of GitHub and BitBucket for version control and deployment.
7. Understanding of high-availability environments and best practices.

Desirable Skills:

1. Experience with TypeScript (nice to have).
2. Exposure to AI technologies.
3. Familiarity with Kubernetes.
4. Background in LAMP stack development.
